Aloha to the kind young men with the Lāhainā Big Boys Football team at Kulamalu Football Field who wrangled my kolohe moʻopuna (mischievous grandchild) wagoner off the field during a game break between Lāhainā and Kahului. She was determined to escape her old grandmother and made many runs along the sideline that afternoon. Many mahalos to all of the Lāhainā players who helped to corral her amid the exhortations from the crowd. I remain very impressed with the young people of Lāhainā.
